Created in 2005 in Allston MA, the Music ADD collective is a group of music-obsessed, grade school friends. Drawing inspiration from all forms of classic reggae, from rocksteady to dub, as well as the scattered patterns of hard bop and early post-punk, the two headed beast known as Destroy Babylon has released it’s first offspring - Growlers. The alter-ego band focuses more on fast, high energy rock over the rootsy vibes of Destroy Babylon. Though made up of the same five guys, Growlers lead vocalist and song writer Rob Carmichael has a different approach to his music making for more progressive yet catchy and accessible melodies. After relocating to Boston, both bands have cultivated a loyal fan base. While on tour, the group has the ability to adjust their set to any venue, and get any type of crowd on their feet.
